Description:

I made this story/communication board for my prek and k students to go with "The Napping House" by Don and Audrey Wood. I go over the board with them before we read the book, to expose them to new vocabulary/concepts. They can use the pictures to answer yes/no and wh-questions. After the book, I do an activity targeting prepositions. I use a babydoll bed, and various stuffed animals and have the children practice putting them in, on, under, next to, in front, behind etc
